Yogurt Museli

This recipe was inspired by my husband Sasha. When we were first married he introduced me to the simpliest and cheapest breakfast imaginable. We would eat raw rolled oats with yogurt and juice. Now we just eat an Oats and Milk Recipe that is even cheaper.

But if you want something a little bit fancier try this recipe. (this is a serving size for one)

 

  • 1 cup raw rolled oats
  • 2-3 T of your favorite yogurt. My favorite brands are Mountain High or Brown Cow (they don't use refined sugars)
  • 1 T sliced or slivered almonds
  • several slices of banana (I don't use the whole thing because I share with my kids but you can if you want)
Simply layer the ingredients in your breakfast bowl in whatever order you want. I add a little bit of milk on top. Try rice, soy or almond milk if you are lactose sensitive.
