Pizza Recipe

Pizza Crust:

  • 1 package dry yeast or 1 T
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

Topping:

  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp powdered garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cups shredded cheese ( or just put it on until it looks like enough)

Dissolve yeast in warm water with honey. Stir in other ingredients and from into ball shape. Place on floured surface and roll out the dough into pizza shape you want. Grease lightly pizza pan or cookie sheet and lay dough on it. Allow dough to rest for 5 minutes and prepare the toppings. Spread on tomato sauce and sprinkle spices and salt on top. You can increase spices if you prefer it spicer. sprinkle on onions and cheese. Bake in a 350 oven for 20-30 minutes or until brown. Cool for five minutes and then cut. I use kitchen scissors to cut my pizza.
